Happy New Year's Eve!

Today is the last day of 2010.  Out with the old and in with the new.  My resolutions sum this up so, I guess you'll have to check back tomorrow for the 1/1/11 post - Resolutions.  The year has been...  Interesting.  Amazing.  Challenging.  Rewarding.  Confusing.  Different.  Fun.  Exhilirating.  Happy.  And a few moments of sadness.  I am looking forward to jumping into 2011!  Ahhh, the new and exciting 2011.  I wonder what awaits me in the New Year...  Hmmm, another adventure?  Maybe.  I wonder where?

My plans for tonight?  Bern and I are heading to Red Robin's (Xmas gift card) for an early dinner and then off to the Suns game.  After the game, we will head home and ring in 2011 with Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin on CNN.  I cannot wait to see what Ms. Griffin has in store for us tonight and of course Anderson as well.  They are fabulous together.  Absolutely fabulous!  Oh yeah!

Here's a few photos from {weheartit} to ring in the New Year.  So, grab your favorite little black dress and sparkle shoes and rock the rest of 2010!  To you guys grab your favorite black suit and shoes.  And "cheers" to each and every one of you and "to a fabulous 2011"!

"Cheers" to my readers and blogger friends - see read you in 2011!

Some additional tidbits...

Alright, finally, my etsy shop has been set-up!  What a process.  Now, I need to set-up paypal to coincide with the esty shop and this is somewhat of a cluster.  I will be sending an email shortly to both, paypal and etsy to address this issue.  Folks, it needs to be a tad bit simpler.  Seriously, it does.  And I mean this in the nicest way.  I just don't hav ete

I took a little "me" time tonight cruised some of my favorite blogs and boy do I have to say OneCraftyFox has a rockin' post.  I love Diana's perfect-at-home-outfit, don't you?  Love it!  And she has a fabulous etsy shop as well.  By the way, she is One Crafty Fox - check out her blog and you'll see.

Oh, and I would really like 36 hours days.  There simply just is not enough time in the day to get everything done I need to.  Nor, is there enough time to relax, eat and yes, sleep too.  And to think, today, I did not have any tea and only a half a cup of coffee.  Hmmm, where does the time go...   Thank goodness for my 3-1/2 day weekend.  I will be a busy bee.  But, I will leave time for relaxing and catching up on my favorite blogs with my Iced Venti Green Tea (with 2 pumps of classic syrup).  Oh, how I miss you.  Relaxation.  Blogs.  Tea.

Until next time.  Thanks for stopping by ...this & that...

...Tuesday Tidbits...

Tuesday, December 28th already?  Wow.  Where does the time go?  It seems like just the other day I was preparing to walk across stage and receive my diploma in the Wells Fargo Arena with my fellow Sun Devils.  Wow.  Really, time has flown by this year.

As the year comes to an end (well, almost) I think about what were the highlights?  Hmmm, well I can name one BIG one...my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Arizona State University.  My red Tumi luggage for my awesome trip.  Yes, I know - it doesn't matter that I didn't use the luggage because I brought way too much stuff.  And my TRIP!!!  Anyhow...  Now, I ponder my next steps, where will my future take me.  Well, for starters I hope my future involves A LOT of international flights and adventures.  I am very fond of adventures.  On many levels - I am not partial just to airline flights.  Adventures are fun.  And boy do they take you places.  Need I forget my baby sister got married this year!  And I got a brother!!!  Well, a brother-in-law...but, close enough right?!  Oh, and of course my blog.  I probably forgot a few things but, I will revisit this post...

I have been working on a post of my New Year's Resolutions.  And yes, I will post it but, its not quite ready.  Yes, yes, and yes the post(s) from my trip are in the works...  Be on the lookout because they might just happen to "pop-up" when you are least expecting them.

I am contemplating what to wear for New Year's.  Bern and I actually have a Suns game so, I will have to include some team spirit colors in my outfit.  Maybe.  Hmmm, maybe I will wear something like this... photo of dress and shoes from {weheartit}

On Friday, after my day ends at 12:30 p.m. I will be heading over to the huge wine store by my office.  I am searching out a bottle of wine from our trip for New Year's Eve.  Keep your fingers crossed.  This bottle of wine was the house wine on our last night in Rome and only cost $13.  And it was the best wine we had on the entire trip.  Yes, it really was.

Still, racking my brain for a name for my up and coming etsy website.  Any ideas?  Scarves and note cards.  Some of my ideas to date:  "HPscreativeside", "HeatherPranitis", or "HPscreativeshop".  They aren't fabulous I know.  I want the name to "scream" me.  Really, I do.  Scream it.  Funny, right?!  Yes, it is however, I want the name of my store to be "me".

Oh, and before I forget I finished dark navy blue and gold note cards and light blue ones.  I will post pictures tomorrow.  If I do say so myself the navy blue cards are pretty snazzy.  Still working on Bern's scarf.  It's going to take awhile because I am using much smaller knitting needles.  And I started another scarf with a bit bigger knitting needles (its a gift).  Yes, I will post pictures tomorrow.

Anyhow, I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.  And feel free to share some of your ...Tuesday Tidbits...  Thanks for stopping by ...this & that...  Until next time.

Christmas Shout Out.

Merry Christmas!  This is absolutely my favorite holiday.  I really enjoy giving gifts and playing Santa at my family get-together.  I elected myself the "official" present-giver-outer!  I wanted to share some pictures from Christmas Eve and a few pics from weheartit.com.  Enjoy!

Candylane way at my grandparents.

Presents around the tree at my grandparents.

The grandparents (that live in Arizona).

That's me!  I am getting ready to pass out the first present!

My ASU pajamas from Victoria Secret.  Thanks to my little sis and her hubby!

Arizona Xmas decorations!  Yes, that is a palm tree.

Ok, we got bells from my grandparents.  My mom, sister and myself.
All of the daughters and grandchildren did.

I had to include this red and black scarf.  For one of my co-workers.

A black scarf for another co-worker.

A little more detail of the black scarf - it had a bit of "color" mixed in.  Nice, huh?

Well, Bern asked for a scarf.  And I just happened to have the colors he asked for: brown and black.  I am going to the store tomorrow to buy more of this color - I think it is going to be a "HOT" seller.
However, it is taking me A LOT longer than my other scarves due to the size of the knitting needles.
But, it is going to FABULOUS when I am done (yes, pictures to follow).

Mel and I.  Yes, with our drinks and food...

Mel and her bell.

A great pictures from {weheartit}

My Tumi contact lens case and Tumi pen...
I have a thing for pens and I love everything to be matching!!!
And Bern is such a great listener and shopper.

My sis walked around my grandparents and took photos of our family photos...  Cool, huh?!

I wish this was what I saw this morning out my window...but, I didn't.
From {weheartit}

My Mom get a little bell.
A very cool gift arrived from my Uncle Ray and Aunt Va.  Some very cool trips are in this book.
Boy, am I looking forward to planning them.

Thanks to my Dad for the Starbucks card.

Technical Difficulties.

I am not real thrilled with my loaner computer right now.  Don't get me wrong I am grateful to Bernie for loaning it to me however, it is not working properly...UGH!  Today, I decided that on Thursday after work (my half-day) that I will be dropping off my broken computer to my fabulous computer guy.  And hopefully it can be fixed.  I am crossing my fingers.  It would be nice not to have to buy a new computer.  Seriously, it would be.  However, I would not mind a new computer.  Hmmm, a brand spanking new computer...  Sounds nice doesn't it and yes, expensive.  Hopefully, the price is very, very, very low.  And then some.

Also, the "loaner" computer is incredibly slow.  Incredible!  So, hence, why I do not have a lot of blog posts right now.  Or my vacation posts...  UGH!  Don't worry they will be up before the end of the year.  I have a few days off coming.  These days will be spent blogging!  Oh yeah!

Keep your fingers crossed and think very few dollar signs...

...Tuesday Tidbits...

Well, I've finished five scarves!

Today's post is going to be short and sweet.  I have projects to finish for Christmas and my up and coming esty website.  Don't worry I will post the link when it is up and going however, check out some of ..this & that...'s {aka Heather P's} items:  knitted scarves and note cards.  Yes, entirely handmade by me!  Pretty exciting, huh?!  I think so.  I thought I would give a "sneak peak" and welcome your comments and questions.  And any ideas or requests are welcomed.

If you have a little free time check out these two fabulous blogs: {this is glamorous} and {a glamorous little side project}.  Or Apartment 34 which is always delightful to read, and I do mean always.

I found a few Laura Mercier items that I would absolutely love to have.  1) A little under-eye dark circle Secret Camouflage.  2) Eye Colour Sampler - perfect for travel, 8 eye shadows all-in-one and 3) this oh-la-la Travel-Brush-Set that is dual-ended and all-in-one.

I love these Guerlain KissKiss Lipstick cases!

Cookies.  This past Saturday I baked cookies with my Mom and sister, Mel.  We had a lot of cookies to bake.  A lot.  And I made two additional trips to the store for more ingredients.  It was a lot of fun.  My sister used Crisco Shortening instead of butter however, the cookies turned out pretty good.  Well, actually absolutely delicious.  But, we did use real butter for the oatmeal chocolate chip and raisin cookies.

Thanks for stopping by ...this & that... until next time.
