Fashion Friday & Friday's Fancies - Date Night.

Tonight's date night.  In my signature color.  Yes, I am a neutral gal.  But, somehow I think I'm rocking the look in nude, don't you think?  And of course I've spiced it up with some pizazz!  Sexy shoes.  Sassy gold matte jewelry that makes a statement.  Sheer cheetah scarf.  You can never go wrong with animal print.  I'm embracing messy hair this evening.  I wanted to add a "hint" of something extra.  So, I chose a curled and tousled look for my hair.  I'm continuing the neutral look with my makeup however, it still looks sexy and sultry.

The sun hasn't quite set and I'm heading out the door.  My aviator's in-hand and my darling python bag (in nude of course) over my shoulder. Cocktails and appetizers with girlfriends await...  You see the girls are waiting for "the rock and roll" to arrive (that's me)!

Blondie's Shop & Mom's Birthday!

Today, Mom and I are spending the day together.

Fashion Friday & Friday's Fancies: It's Picnic Time!

Happy Friday all!  One of my favorite days of the week besides Sunday of course.  Typically that's reserved as family or movie day.  This weekend just happens to be a 3-day weekend for me too.  Monday is my Mom and Aunt's birthday, I'm spending the day with my Mom or rather she is spending the day with me.  You see Mom is being a great sport and assisting me with an event for Blondie's Shop!

Today we are going comfortable and casual.  The look is just right for heading to a picnic.  Shorts, striped tank, sassy sandals and a matching clutch.  And yes you a tad bit of color with the neutral shorts.  Yes, that's me a neutral gal!  Let's not forget a coordinating jacket if it gets cool...  Well, here in the Valley of the Sun I really don't have that problem anymore but, just in case.  A girl always needs to be prepared.

My plans for the weekend are pretty low-key.  A girlie date Friday evening that includes seeing The Lucky One.  Saturday is going to be spent on a lot of multi-tasking: laundry, cleaning, writing, and card-making.  Sunday my sister and I are taking Mom out to brunch and shopping for her birthday.

Sassy Stylin' Sunday: Leopard & Leather {#Goals}

Happy Sunday!

Goals have been on my mind lately.  A few things have been floating around my brain for the past few months.  But, wait!  It involves the comfort zone and "stepping" outside the safe little box.  A little scary, I know.  Sometimes, the need to step outside of the zone, the comfort zone is absolutely imperative to succeed.  You know outside the box.  Come on, you know exactly what I mean.  Yes, you do...  Not necessarily clothes (as you see below) but, the itty, bitty, little bubble that surrounds us in all facets of our life. the safe zone.  Do I dare step outside of this safe little bubble?

You just need to take the "plunge" and branch out...  I'm working on it!  It's hard.  I want to remain in the comfort zone.  However, change is inevitable.  And with change you are taken out of the zone.

Currently, I'm working on goals for Blondie's Shop and ...this & that... of which involve me stepping way, far outside the zone.  But, I'm game and I will be surrounding myself with some very talented people to help me achieve my goals!  It's going to be a lot of hard work: blood, sweat and tears.

I thought today's outfit would be a great indicator that I AM going to step outside the bubble, branch out and accomplish my goals!  Woohoo!  Enjoy the sassy little number I've chosen for today and yes, I would happily wear it!  It's sassy and sexy.  And would definitely make a statement, right?!  Right.  Have a wonderful Sunday and make it a great one!

Happy Friday the 13th!  I hope you have a fabulous day and then some.  All day yesterday I thought it was Wednesday so, I was pretty excited when a co-worker informed me that "today" was in-fact Friday.  Yay!!!

Tonight is taco and movie night at my place.  Plus, I will probably clean and do some laundry too.  Yes, I know a very exciting Friday night for this single gal.  But, it is a great way to start the weekend.

Fashion Friday & Friday's Fancies - Pastels (sort of).

Wow, it's been a while, are you surprised to me see me here?  I am.  Slowly but surely, I am getting back into the swing of things.  The blogging hiatus is over!  My travel schedule is on a temporary "hold" of sorts (more on this later).  I'm baaack and badder than ever.  Ha-ha.  I couldn't resist.  I'm looking forward to getting back into a blogging routine and I'll be switching things up on ...this & that...
